In 2008 we went up nova scotia. We took route 1 along most of the way up the east coast. It was a nice casual ride. On the way back we went inland and came back through Vermont.
Koinz,
I am planning the exact opposite for this summer. Going up thru Vermont thru Montreal, then heading to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia coast.
If you have any tips or must sees would appreciete it.

I made an amateur DVD of the whole trip with music and subtitles lol. If you pm me your contact information ill burn you a copy for your viewing pleasure .

We didn't camp on our trip so where ever we had reservations for rooms, we had to make sure we got there no matter what detours we made throughout the day. It made for some long days, but very enjoyable.

Definetely check out the bay of fundy, gillettes castle, Cabot trail.

Howdy,
Not to burst your bubble Super 10 :( but if you are talking Mar/Apr you're going to be drawing a line approx. at the Ma. border as to how far north you can go that time of year. Their still skiing in NH, VT and Me that time of year. Novi is still frozen solid.

Norm

Hi Super 10
Your welcome, if your schedule does not allow any change you could look at Cape Cod. Because of the Gulf Stream the south side of the Cape gets very nice that time of year usually to the point that they play winter golf. Lots to see and do on that Cape (I live on the "Other Cape") especially seeing how it's off season for tourists. Not sure what your interests are so I would recommend a quick web search of Cape Cod.
Later,
Norm
