Not at all! I took a look at the stock hardware but could not see how it can be done. That doesn't mean it can't, maybe I'm just not seeing it??!!

If you feel like saving a bit of money:

I'm going to see if there's a way to mount it with the current OEM rack setup. There has to be a way.

I don't see why you couldn't do it on the right pannier rack. You've got about 5 inches of width there.

Another place could be the bottle being vertical between the right side pannier "front" bolt and the leg thing that the pannier sits on. You could bolt it in on the top section and affix it somehow on the leg portion (zipties?).

I looked at installing one of these tool tubes, but in the long run it just wasn't big enough. I like to carry a 10lb. Fitting Tool and a good size Bronson Rock, so I went with something a little bigger. Now I even have room for a small floor jack. ::008::

That looks less tool tube and more bazooka. Can it spew out flames on command?

I know this is an old thread, But a buddy and I are working on a way to mount these behind the Right OEM pannier. I should have them in the next few weeks and if they work, I'll share some pictures.

How about a universal Smoke Wrench, it should fit too. ::025::

Anxiously waiting to see what you come up with.

If you have Altrider Crash Bars you can mount the Tubes at the lowest horizontal point where the bars mount to the motorcycle. Cut pieces of wood, plastic, aluminum, or... that allow you to mount these rectangular pieces to the bars and mount the tubes to the rectangular pieces.

There is a thread showing how this is done. Not sure if it is on YST or ADV.
