Doran Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Hey fellow Teneristas, has anyone had experience with this product? It looks pretty good, and I am thinking of adding this farkle over the winter, but I would like to know if anyone has used the system, and what your experience with it was, good or bad.

Never mind. I see there are already some other strings related to this product. I will check them out.

I've had mine on several bikes. I don't have it on my S10 because I need to replace the rubber valve stems, as you need to have metal ones or you risk snapping the rubber stem off resulting in a catastrophic failure.


It works well, however, the batteries in the sensors are not replaceable so you need to spend $50 on a pair of sensors every couple of years or so.


When it's time to replace the tires, I'm putting this on:

That is great info. Thanks very much. Do you think the Hawk's Head system will also require metal valve stems?
