LOVE the ABS on road and in the wet, saved my bacon a couple of times! HATE it off road, just about sold the farm yesterday on a single track rocky downhill sweeper!!!

Thanks in advance.
Who has the know how and procedure to by pass the ABS ?? Or a aftermarket device to do so

No worky, maybe another thing the Canadian model will not do. When on the centre stand put bike into second gear and slight twist of throtle results in ABS light coming on and assume ABS turning off. However, once rear wheel comes to a stop ABS light goes off and I assume ABS re engages?

any other canucks have this experience??

Same thing here. The light has to stay on if the system is disabled. Kinda disappointed actually. Thought I had a ace up my sleeve if I ever got good enough off road to need to have abs off.

There is a fuse you can pull. Not sure offhand which one but a search should turn it up...

Somewhere, here or over on ADV, Greg (Wasp) has a write up on his hooligan switch. A simple on-off switch on the bar. Keep the safety of abs until you have a need to skid and slide all over the place.

I'm keeping mine hooked up, love the ABS on and off road, but I only use the front brake UBS. Course yall already knew that.

I for one mounted up an ABS switch on my Tenere and have to admit I use it rarely. But on steep stair case and loose downhills it is a huge plus.
