Got to ride about 40 miles on dirt roads and can't wait to do it again.First 10 miles smooth roads took it nice and easy.It didn't feel any heavier than my old vstrom 650.Used t mode and power felt just about right.Did Sandwitch Notch Rd. up in NH with plenty of rough areas up and down with the stock tires and giggled the whole way.Back on Rt.93 at 80 mph and smooth as silk.I bought a 2013 and don't think I could be happier.I also have a 08 fjr and see many others do as well.I think the one I like the best is the one I'm on,both great bikes.I didn't think the tenere would feel as good as it did in the dirt.Alot of fun.

Put some decent tires on that thing, get some armor on her flanks and underside, turn off the TCS, and let 'er rip!!!
