Now that I have taller handlebars on, I really don't like the look of the stock mirrors now. 2nd gen either.

I know, that's being a little picky, but they are right in your face.
I like the look of the KTM adventure mirrors but I doubt they would have the same thread size.
Anybody change the mirrors to something else.

I've never looked into it but I'm pretty sure there are thread adapters you can get to fit just about any mirror.

I just looked on eBay too. They have some mirrors for our bikes AND they come with adaptors.

I wouldn't mind a larger mirror, I got mirror risers and it helps for my height but a bigger viewing platform would be a nice finishing touch. I'm pretty sure that the threads are different from the left to the right, so the mirrors would have to be two different threads, correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, 10mm RH thread on left side, 10mm LH thread on right side.

You can get adapters for the left handed side so you can use any mirror you want.

I like the first ones pictured. Not too long ago I dropped my bike and broke off the left mirror. I ordered some cheap eBay mirrors. DON'T go cheap!.
They wouldn't hold position no matter how tight I cinched down. I found a used OEM and bought it. I really like the original mirrors.

Gonna try some of these, (inexpensive to try anyway) and maybe make my own stems,
possibly one that goes from the bar end to the regular mount point. Just to be different.....like the Tenere!
Even the stock mirrors have a little shake to them. Maybe a double mount will help that.

While, I am not pushing Double Take mirrors, it is a good design. The use of the Ram mount mounting arm makes this fully adjustable. The mirrors are mounted on my wife's CanAm Spyder. She pulls a trailer and the mirrors can be adjusted to allow full rear view.

Just my take.

Good Luck

I agree they are a good design, just don't care for the look of the bulky stem, I don't even like it on my GPS (looks the same)
But does give you a lot of adjustability and durability.

I like the looks of the stem better than the other ones you were considering, which ones are these and do they come with left and right thread stems?
