Will be heading up to the Terryall area to check out the trails there. Being higher & dryer, it should be a good time. Will have lunch in the restaurant there or maybe the Kenosha Inn. It is supposed to be in the low 50's, but sunny, so dress accordingly. Meet at the Conoco at C470 & Morrison Rd at 9:30.

I might see You Gents out there. Got to go out to breakfast in the morning than I'm free to ride. Hopefully we will cross paths.

We'll need to build some time in one of these rides to get to a place with big tables to do lunch so we can look at that COBCDR map.

Definitely! I don't want to "over-plan" but we definitely need one and see what everyones expectations are…

My buddy did it last year with some folks who didn't discuss much of anything trying to just go with the flow but things came up like how far to go on a given day, or the pace of the ride itself. The group split up halfway through the ride…. Thats not a bad thing IMO..

Its going to be a week of our vacations so it should be fun instead of something like a family road-trip!

As Bushy indicated, I'm in too however, I have to be back in town around 3 so may have to split off early. Anyways, I ordered the map and the DVD so we'll have to mett up some time and check it out.

Hi, Sorry I did nuke the FB page. Someone rubbed me wrong with their comment implying something I did not like. I also felt that it wasn't gaining any traction…

After the recent snow the shady and north-facing sides had a bit much snow made it pretty slick… It was still fun.

Here's what happened to me….

Foot got stuck under the bike and I twisted going off the back.. Ankle is swollen, black and blue, and SORE..

I hope you didn't break any bones. Elevate and ice. Did you make it over to Tarryall?

No worries regarding the fb page...I get it.

My bike took a dirt as well near the same spot.

All in all a fun day. The suspension adjustments seem to have helped.

Bushy - I hope its too bad. Lets us know the prognosis.

It was another fun ride. Lots of snow & ice in the shady spots/hill sides. The first shady spot/hill side/uphill was the only one with a bypass, which was probably more slippery than going thru the snow & ice. That is where 2 of the bikes went down, grassy field with damp, slippery semi frozen mud in the vehicle track ruts. TC 1 seemed to work well for me slow & steady, easy on the throttle. I didn't see bike 1 go down but bike 2 looked like a perfect slide in slo-mo, both in the same spot. Even with crash bars & skid plates, the shifter is still left exposed

I will have to look up the link for the folding shifter & then we can have a tech day & put several together. Maybe that would help a bit with a left side laydown?

Looks like I'm out for any ride this weekend. Sprained ankle. I don't know the technical names but the one ligament on the outside of the leg and the Achilles tendon area. Its not bad but Doc says to rest it.

Well I'm planning on riding, but not off-road.. Uneven surface could cause the ankle to roll as its not real "stable".. Opportunity to take my Ducati out!

Catch you guys the following weekend....

BTW, I heard places in the mountains got up to 6" overnight.

Hope that ankle heals up fast....

I've learned the hard way to get the hell away from the bike when it wants to take a dirt nap. :'(

Now when it gets past the point of no return I step away, after all I paid for those darn guards.
