I have a pair of Klim adventure gloves and they are junk.....threads unraveling at the finger tips...these are only a season and half old...threads started separating shortly after I bought them. I should have brought them back but never got round to it. Anyway not to turn this into a Klim bashing thread but their stuff is not nearly worth what they charge.

Looking for recommendations for a decent ADV (summer weight) glove that is durable comfortable and reasonable priced....say under $75. The cheaper the better....

I could also use a mid weight glove for the fall.....

i'm not sure if this brand is available in the US - but these are the best summer gloves i've ever bought!

http://www.richa.eu/products/gloves/magma/

fabris on the top, soft leather on the bottom, hard armour in places - they are a short glove but right from the off they have been completely comfortable.

they even have a CE certification for protection (which again makes me wonder if these are euro-only) where very few gloves have met that standard.

and especially not at the £40GBP i paid for them! - i think that would put them in the $60USD region

I did a 2000mile Euro tour last month in them and they got soaked, sun-dried and they are just great.

Not an "Adventure" glove but I will throw it out there anyway.

Very comfortable (I'm a big fan of boxed fingers with external sticking) summer weight, short cuff glove with nice protective features at a decent price. Being a vented summer glove they are NOT water proof.

I have the high viz ones and they match nicely with my high viz Klim Badlands "Poser" Pro ::025::

The Aerostich Elkskin Ropers are the most comfortable gloves I have ever owned. I find them comfortable in the summer and in cooler fall and spring temps as well. http://www.aerostich.com/clothing/gloves/elkskin-and-deerskin-gloves

Lee Parks are similar and my favorite. So well made, no seams in the palms of fingers No cheap but amazing. Worn by many of the CHP. http://www.leeparksdesign.com/

I wear the Dear Tour in tan http://www.leeparksdesign.com/catalog_product_detail.asp?cat=530-3637&product=33204

Just find the Held glove that fits the season and drop the coin to get them...worth every penny.

I never would have thought that these would have lasted as long as they have, but I found these 7 years ago and they are still going strong!! I am very hard on my gear and these gloves have really surprised me. I have two pairs in reserve waiting for when these wear out! They are cheap, comfortable, and apparently quite durable. They are NOT winter gloves, however, as they free flow lots of air.

Yep, I got a pair of Airstream 2 for this summer - absolutely love them - and the quality is unreal, I could see these lasting many seasons...wish they made heated gloves for winter, I'd be all over them!

I have a pair of Klim Dakar over two years now. Industractuble!
You may want to check the new Rev'it Dirt glove or the little bit more pricey Sand 2 glove. They're both very well ventilated gloves.

i too have used HELD and had great luck. The ADV GLove is the KLIM Adventure, been two years and great so far. The first pair did have the threads coming out, send back under warranty, and this pair fits better and hasn't sprung a leak yet.
