Dealer Service Manual MIA

Has anyone had any trouble getting a copy of the Yamaha service manual for the Super Tenere? I bought my bike and a copy of the service manual on Oct. 3rd. Still no manual and the dealer can't tell me when it will come. Does almost 3 months seem a little extreme? Bart

Hmm, I ordered mine a while back from yamahapubs.com and had it in a week.

Ordered mine when I purchased the bike in Sept....took a couple of weeks to arrive.

I called the dealer again and they started into the ,"It takes a long time to get manuals speech". I then pressed them to check on the order. They called me back a few minutes ago and told me pubs vendor lost the order and it should be at my house soon.... I hope they are right.

I'm afraid I will always prefer a hard copy of any maintainance manual. I have to use online manuals at work. Its ok to copy just the section that you need each time you work on something but I prefer to just grab a book off of my manual shelf in the shop and read it. Plus I tend to make notes for future reference.
