On my implementation with that same panel, I moved the socket outlet to the left side of the panel and the USB outlets to the right. I did that because I wasn't able to fit any plugs into that socket (the dash buttons that protrude slightly lower than the rest of the dash gets in the way) which sort of made it useless. Are you using a specific socket there that's short enough to fit into that gap?RockyDS said:My version ...
What did you use for the trim piece and where from?jimbob said:Bernie does a first rate job with these panels. Got mine the other day and wrapped it with some matte carbon fiber and and trimmed out the edge. Works well with the wind deflectors. The outer mounting plates give you a couple different options with the deflectors. Here's what I ended up doing...Turned out great...
I was concerned about that but the way I've done the panel it fits just fine. If you compare my picture with the one of your panel you posted earlier you'll see I mounted my USB/Volts/12v outlet panel a little further away from the dash buttons. Not a huge difference but enough to provide the necessary clearance.TheHelios said:On my implementation with that same panel, I moved the socket outlet to the left side of the panel and the USB outlets to the right.
