Ah nice. And other than looks (which they look great) do they offer any other functionality? Less wind for example? Sorry not educated on this mod :)
I don't notice any. Looks good, cleans the area up. Gives you options to add more switches, buttons, dials and du-dads!

Nice work Tortured. I really like the carbon fiber look on this. I see it comes with install hardware but is there any modification to the bike needed to get it installed? What does it bolt on to?
No modifications to your bike.
It bolts in with the 4 holes already in your fairing. Where the wind deflectors go also. Can also be used in conjunction with those in the same holes.
Yes it comes with stainless button head Allen screws and lock nuts. The carbon fiber wrap is nice if you like that look.
No problem with changing headlight bulbs, I've done mine about 4 times, not a problem at all reaching under.
Also blocks a tremendous amount of the wind up thru the fairing.

Have fun

I was going to make one on my own, but that is a nice looking panel. How might I go about purchasing one of them?

I'm sorry i missed this question. No, there is absolutely no modification to your bike or faring. It bolts in with the 4 small side holes in the top of the faring that are unused, unless you have the clear wind deflectors - winglets...thats where they bolt also.....and if you already have those, it's no problem....you just take the bolts out, add the dash filler and put the bolts back through both of them.

Will drill one hole free, if you know where you want it and the size.

There are made from .050 6061 Aircraft aluminum, they stiffen the faring area substantially, especially if you have the clear winglets/deflectors that bolt on through the same holes. They also block the updraft / wind coming up through this area.
