HI folks. I have been riding for a couple years now, so fairly new, having started on a Honda Shadow 750 to get my sea legs. I still love that bike and will keep it. Now I not only have more than twice the power, I have off-road capabilities. The southeast is full of unpaved roads, and I mostly enjoy riding in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. My buddy, a Goldwing rider since 2008 also just acquired the same Super Tenere (2012), and lives in NC. It was a natural progression to get adventure bikes to get into the woods, do some motorcycle back country camping, and increase the terrain/experiences available. Hope to see you on the trails and roads.

Welcome aboard from Italy.
I have done the same thing, after I have owned cruisers since the end of the 90's I decided to buy myself a S10 and to be honest I wish I had it done earlier....
My last bike, Yamaha XV 950, took me well around Italy and Europe ( I made my longest trip so far) but with the super Tenere it's another game....
Ride safe mate.
