Crash damage after an argument with shaun the sheep (god rest his soul)

Hi everyone, as my subject title suggests, I had a tangle with the late shaun the sheep and had an off at 40+mph. Thankfully I had crashbars fitted and aluminium panniers which took most of the damage. The rest of the damage centers around the handlebars and screen and tank. Bars & controls not a problem, tank can be repaired by some clever person (not me), which leaves the screen. Screen is undamaged but the plastic piece which holds it along with the side deflectors has smashed. It appears to be (for want of a better description) a black plastic apron which goes from one side to the other around the clocks and was I think 1 piece. Has anyone got a spares breakdown for this bike or maybe just a part number please? Thanks for the help! Steve

RIP SHAUN THE SHEEP.

Hi all, thanks for all your concern. After discussing with my insurance company I have decided not to claim from them. Apparently my boxes and frames are not covered (even though they saved the bike by taking most of the impact), and neither are my crashbars, helmet or clothing, this leaves very little damage, i.e. missing left mirror and broken clamp, screen support and a plastic side panel ( one of the black ones that the side deflectors fit to.) and my handlebars all in all less than £500 doing it myself, less than the excess on the policy.
Anyone in the UK got a spare set of handlebars I could buy please?
And no I DIDN'T have a barbeque with shaun as my rack and bungees were needed to bring home my mangled boxes. Shame though, as he was already tenderized.

Too bad about the insurance.
Check into the sub-board about accessories and look for handlebar threads. This is an opportunity to try something new. If that's interesting anyway.

No coloured dye on sheep or tags in ear as far as I could see. I'm tempted to return to area to see condition of fences etc.. to try and find farmer responsible.

I always wonder about the legalities in areas where sheep roam free. Did you report to plod?

Always carry a strong rope and heavy duty plastic sack, then at least you'll have lamb roasts, and kebabs for a month or so if the road kill is not tagged.
