You should get a big response. I think all brands are represented on this Forum. I have SW Motech. Look good, fit well .. there were some issues with others regarding fitment, but not with mine. Same with Altrider. Good luck with it. I think any of them will work well for you. R

crash bars

Altrider on blue Tenere (the most fastest color).

They weren't too bad to install. Dropped the bike once in the driveway (for discovery purposes :)) and they protected the bike well. A small scratch...looks tough now.

Welcome to the forum! Have you tried a search? Several good threads on the various brands - all of which look good on a BLUE SuperT!!!

Sorry, tpitman ... I did not realize you were new to the Forum. Welcome on. Get out there and kick some New Hampshire road butt. Let us know what kind of bars you end up with. R

Welcome tpitman. All the crash bars look good to me. The Altriders seemed like the best in the protection department, but I went with the Givis and had an extra couple hundred bucks (compared to the altriders) to put toward other stuff…and since install we’ve had a least one report in here that the Givis work pretty good. ::008::

Here is a pic of Mr. T and his SW Motech crash bars, just outside of Stewart, B. C., in September. R

It wasn't marked. It was one of many on the way into Stewart. Could very well be either one. It's on the left hand side going into Stewart. Maybe half way from Meziadin, a tad more. It was right close to the road, as you can see. R

I think eemsreno is correct. It's Bear Glacier. Looking at Google Earth, there is a pic of Bear Galcier, taken at Strohn Lake, that looks VERY similar to yours.

And I'm twitching with anticipation for Summer 2012. 4 weeks to wander the Great White North on me moto...

I might just head through there on the way back and get that EXACT photo with the Bear Glacier in the background!

SW-MOTECH for me....good protection, went on easy and $100 cheaper than the Altrider setup;

Here's Big Blue....after about 150 miles of dirt, mud and gravel

The blue ice of the Salmon Glacier appears to flow like a river, very pretty !!
Its worth the ride past the bears and up the mountain to see it !!
