Could this be the Fastest Tenere Ever?

Look closely to see if you can identify who rides this Tenere. Hint, he rode from Yamaha at one time and win a bunch of races during a very distinguished career.

Bike may not be the fastest, but with the owner on it I dought many of us can keep up with this rider. Who is it?

KR, is pretty short I'm wondering if they just lowered the bike by dropping the front forks in the triple & a lowing kit for rear shock ?

Probably lowered all the way around, since the side stand appears to be down in the Independence Pass pic.

You are correct, it is Kenny Roberts and other than the lower forks and some paint the bike is stock.
