Just returned back from Hollister, Ca. to see what Corbin has planned for the Super Tenere.

Mr. Corbin envisions a dakar style windscreen similar to the World Crosser with a bracket for an iPad and an adjustable wing like the MRA screens.

Also, a smugglers bag with 15-20 liters, like the Ducati Multistrada but better.
This replaces the rear seat after the rear rack is lowered.

Finally, a seat is in the works.

I'll be posting renditions when Corbin sends them my way. ::26::

Great! I've had a couple of their seats and was very happy with them. Did you talk timetable? :)

Cool. Keep us posted on what they come up with. I had a Corbin on my last Yamaha, RS Warrior.

Mr. Corbin is very excited about the Super T.
JJ, Thanks for the heads up! I am eagerly awaiting a Corbin seat. Any details that you can find out about when they would be available for us to purchase would be great. And please post pics when you get yours!!!

Believe it or not, Mr. Corbin stressed the desire to have an iPad mounted.

That's one huge map. ::001::

Can I hook up a video camera or infrared camera? Yes please!

Here is a reply I received today from Corbin when I asked about a seat for the S-10 a week or so ago... ::) ::) ::)

"Hi,
thanks for asking, we currently don't have a seat for your bike. Not sure if we will be making one at this time. But how close are you to Hollister, CA? If you are close both you and your Yamaha could come in and we can make a custom seat for you.
Please let me know if you have any more questions."

Guess not everyone is up to speed as to what they are working on....

No kidding. I emailed them months ago that they could have mine and they told me that they already had one for building one up. Emailed them again the day I got word it was in town and they told me the same thing, they already had one.

They used my wife's F800ST for building the seat for that bike.

First Smuggler image from Corbin

Corbin's Smuggler bag takes shape!!! Me like!

They are looking at this from two directions. ::013::
One version has clean lines like the tank (pic included) and the other is a utility version like the saddlebags.

JJ,

Will the Smuggler take the place of the passenger seat like on the sport touring bikes? I really want one but I need to keep my top case!

Have a great weekend!

I guess looking at the picture, I am SOL with the Smuggler as my top case is more important to me! Oh well, I at least need the Corbin SEAT for comfort!

Best Regards,

Hey JJ,

Lookin good, cant wait to see the finished product! Do you know if they are doing anything to address the forward slope of the seat with their seat pan?

IL, the land of straight, flat, boring roads
When I look at pic 2 it looks like it may be like some of the Corbins I have had that gave me a problem. It looks like he again wants to have a rise in front, right where Ze Stuff resides and that isn't comfortable for me. I prefer a flat platform front to back. In looking at the Russell seat pics, it looks like they have accomplished a flat platform.
