i'd like to thank the guys that pointed out the 'bypass' for the NA models.

I'd like to add a simple way of wiring this up for easy access.
I'm picking up a inline fuse tomorrow, and a in line splice at the local nerd electrical store.
Splice onto the light green wire with the in line splicey thingie-maggiger, then run a wire to the inline fuse (or if the wire comes with the inline fuse is long enough), over to a grounding point under the front seat.
Insert a 5 amp fuse (any fuse really) when you need to adjust the CO level, pull the fuse when you're done.
This could also be accomplished with a switch, but you may bump it by mistake, so the fuse might be the best solution.
Pics to follow after install tomorrow, I need material first.

Is it necessary to undo the ground after adjusting the CO settings? I have grounded the wire and left it that way....

You really don't need a fuse. When you are shopping for the splice thingy look for one each male and female torpedo type of connectors. Run one wire to ground and the other to the green wire and only plug the connectors together when you want to adjust the CO. No fuse to worry about losing when you have them disconnected. Cheaper than buying a fuse holder also.

Ok, so went to the nerd store picked up a few things I needed around the garage.

Got my CO mod done, total cost, a staggering $4.25 or so.
Used the following: inline fuse block, inline splice, a ring type connector, and some 14 ga. wire.
total install took 5-10 minutes.

I think this works, as you need to insert the fuse into the holder only when you need to modify your CO level, a coin will work too.
Anyways, love to post pics, but i'm a computer idiot (apparently) ::010:: and I have not figured out how to do it.
Cam, do your thing.

Prety slick idea.
thank you.
If you look closely the ring type connector (yellow) tucks under the metal bracket nicely, and stays out of the way.
now I need to see if the CO adjustment makes the fuelling better
