I found a supplier for Clear Alternatives brand clear turn signal lenses for our large USA version signals.
Ours are the same as the 2010 R1. Motolume.com sells them online for $24 a set and includes the amber bulbs.
The fit was a little loose but I put a few layers of electrical tape on the bottom rails and now they fit perfect.

Usually, I'm not into this look but given the oem tail light is clear, that looks pretty good.

I had a PM with a few questions so thought other might benefit from this reply:

Here is the link to the site that sells them:

http://stores.motolume.com/-strse-59/02-dsh-06-YAMAHA-R1%3Cbr%3E09-dsh-10-YAMAHA/Detail.bok?category=Yamaha+Turn+Signals

Here is the list of bikes that have the same lenses.

02-06 YAMAHA R1
09-10 YAMAHA R1
03-05 R6
06-10 YAMAHA R6S
04-09 FZ6
06-10 FZ1

The loose fit was corrected by using about four or five layers of electrical tape on the bottom of the lens housing that slides into the mount. There are two rails that are about .375" long and about .0625" wide at the bottom of the lens. These rails press the lens upward and a hook at the top sinks into a void on the top of the mount. The tape makes the fit snug. The OEM lens did not need this, but the clear lens was a little off. With the tape fix, it was fine and you don't notice it was closed up.

Hope that helps.

Just got thru ordering these...

Thanks Speedy for the link and PM.

They look the nuts and they make the funky size a bit smaller to me.

Anywho, mine are on their way.

Oh - they DO NOT have any promo codes, I called and asked Courtney.

Glad to help.

They gave me the local, cash only discount. Mine were $40 total. Don't tell anyone though... ;)
