You can tell he's completely serious in video #3. His zipper's down.

Man is all business.

Yeah, me too. I couldn't believe it took me these videos to realize I need something so frivolous as handlebar control wiring, or all that extra thick wire for the ignition components.

Luckily I've got some 26 gauge wire I can use to lighten my bike up a little.

Might drop the license plate down to the swingarm, too, so it looks good. Should give it better performance like the guy said.

Don't you just love the part in #9 where he says something like "I want to be respected as a custom bike builder" ???

Something also tells me that you'd *NEVER* gonna' hire this guy, eh Jaxon? ::025::

Even sadder is that he's attempting to "pre-sell" that bike for $7500 and spamming every bike list he can to hype it. I ran into it on an Oregon listserv and the poster, (that no one seemed to know), kept saying how cool it was and to watch the videos, up until I started commenting on the guy's inability to use tools correctly, then went quiet.

I know absolutely nothing about building bikes, and I do love me some zip-ties (right behind duct tape and just in front of industrial strength Velcro - I'm from Alabama so get over it), but this guy actually used zip-ties as part of his custom license/tail lamp bracket...

Even one of my KLR friends was appalled at this...just sayin'...

Man, I just had to subscribe to his youtube channel. I can't wait to see the first test tide on this BAD ASS awesome bike. I think it will be interesting to see how that 1 to 1 1/2 inch clearance above the rear tire works out when he hits a bump and the BAD ASS shock compresses a bit. Also would like to see how he fills the vertically mounted front brake master cylinder, not to mention how far it runs on that Bel Ray 2 stroke oil he put in it. The sad part is that I think he is actually serious.

In the carb video I actually laughed so hard I started to cry when he brought the zip tie daisy chain into view. If is is fake, any comedy writer should seek out his mentorship. If it is real, his confidence is admirable.

It is fake. He has ads running at the start of his vids, and that is not something the guy in the video would know how to opt into if he was seriously that dumb. Check out his tool video and it is just a tiny bit over the top to be real http://youtu.be/yVViJZ640yM

I don't know if he is pulling our leg or not. As far as the ads, anybody that figures out how to post videos on youtube can easily choose whether to have the ads on them. Even I figured that out, but also learned that it isn't worth it, as you have to have something that goes viral before you will get a cent from your videos. it is a possibility that he is a comic genius, though with hopes that his made up incompetence in these videos will get enough viewers for him to actually make a dollar or 2. Entertaining in any case.

Somehow I overlooked this one....This dude is one skilled guy.

I like the seat as he got it: it has its own zip code!

I particularly like his criteria for effective brake pads: scrap those silly smooth stock ones, got for the 20 Grit version that will make it all better. I'm going out in the garage right now and use double sided tape and 2o grit paper to enhance my brake pads on every vehicle here.

That frame mod was genius. Who needs any of those heavy cross-members or gussets? It only has to be big enough to install a through bolt for the shock. remind me of the guys that see some rust on their leaf spring hanger bolts of their truck and replace them with brass bolts so they won't rust.

I'm obviously missing the real deal by not getting my spares from E-Bay, where everything is more better. I'll have to work on that......along with getting rid of all of that excess suspension travel: everyone knows that bikes with 1/4 inch of ground clearance handle better. Ask Lorenzo and Rossi, they'll tell you!

I'm glad he's in Illinois where he won't be able to easily get at me. I don't know what they put in their water over there, it used to be a nice place; recent events don't support positive impressions.

At a recent company function, I was speaking to another long-term employee who happens to be a moto-guy, and he was laughing about how he was picking up beater rat bikes, rattle can painting them flat black, and tossing most necessary stuff and calling them Cafe bikes. He said the kids were lined up around the block to buy them. A fool and his money.........

Thanks you Dallara for the fabulous tutorial. I'm doing it all wrong!

Just like the term "Chopper" they have completely missed the original purpose.

If he has a Google AdSense account, he can have ads shown on his videos through that, thus earning him fractions of a dollar IF people click on the ad. If he does not set this up, Google, who owns Youtube, will simply show the ads anyway, as THEY will keep all the ad revenue. ;)

It' clear this is an ongoing joke - one which I support. I have to keep reminding myself the guy is just taking a piss with this, as otherwise, it'd be afraid for this country...LOL

Still, there is a LOT of thought put into this. Careful editing allows him to make progress with seemingly incompatible tools. Clever making a screwdriver from a bit, a file handle and duct tape. Calling out green zip ties as solid and permanent, and black ties as temporary. Clearly this is all well planned. I get the sense that if he/they are this creative, they are probably, in reality, very skilled fabricators.

I find myself eagerly waiting on the next installment! GO ICHIBAN!!!!
