Two years ago I bought my first dual sport bike..ye ole 2012 KLR black. At my first rally I won a two day class in Spartenburg SC at the BMW offroad clinic. Two days of being on a GS800 and driving through crap. Very fun. Here it is two years later and I wanted a bigger, more powerful bike. Enter the new s10 now with 450 miles on it since Sat as I try to get it to 600 for the first maintenance by the end of today. No add ons yet so for now, its all pavement. Not to worry, it shall see dirt.

Welcome on, Belaflek from Nashville. Now, I have to ask …. this isn't THE Bela Fleck, is it? I'm a banjo picker and I am well aware of BELA FLECK. I noticed that the name is spelled differently. Please clarify so I can stop drooling. Anyway, ::004:: to the Forum. R. ::022::

Welcome from sunny Florida ::004::

The miles add up rather quickly, well i am in riding weather all the time down here in Jacksonville but have fun and try to put her to the test and see what our Super Yammi's can do. Either way if you swing down here i'll ride with you any day ::002::

Once again ::004:: and ::021::

no not THE belaflek though I see Victor Wooten around as he lives somewhere close by. I removed the C because that stands for credit..and we don't do that around here (Except for this bike ::005:: ) The class was great. Started off on gravel..the a ride around the forest...fast bumps, then ride around the forest..then camel backs, ride, gravel, ride, sand, ride, figure 8s as tight as we could pretty much everything. by the end of the first day I couldn't even keep the clutch squeezed. As of now There are no addons and that will be a slow process. Still, thus far coming from a KLR the comfort factor and extra grunt is nothing short of superb.
