I am planning on putting one of these on my bike. Cheap enough and it would be nice to see the actual temp when riding. I don’t know how weather resistant they are but are inexpensive enough.

As long as the sensors don't need to be submerged to give a reading.

I just figure the display is 4-5 degrees high. Weather on my phone and bank clocks usually come in about there.

That's a good find Mac. I have had really good luck with a good old meat thermometer. Simply calibrate it in ice water and it's ready to go. I like your setup a lot better for the Super Tenere. I can't seem to find a good place on the ST to mount the rod that comes off the thermometer.

I will say mine is super accurate. It also has been vibration proof and very durable the last few seasons:

I just thought it was kind of cool.

He three settings on the digital display I seem to use the most are:
Air temp
Water temp
Fuel mpg ave

With this I think it will be
Current mpg
Water temp
Fuel mpg average

I mounted this with Velcro so it’s easy on/off. The lead for the probe is about 24” so it can be mounted anywhere. Easily removable so I can see the temp in my tent. Easily put on a different bike too.
