I watch that race on tv. Man that guy has got stones. He landed on his head hard, got up, restarted the bike and got back on the track before he got lapped. He was dead last and worked his way back up to like 14th or so out of 40. They showed him after the race sitting by the fence totally wiped out. If you did not repesct Chad before that race you got to give it to him now. RV was right behind him and you can see he and RD watching Chad fly through the air.

Oh and he is self employed, runs his own team

Saw that on the news. He doesn't know the meaning of the word quit!

In my younger days, I've crashed hard only to get up, shake it off and keep on riding. Only later did I realize I'd injured myself seriously. Adrenaline, pure and simple. I hope Chad is really OK....

I'm screwed up enough physically from my "devil may care" youth, that I've had to temper my riding with a healthy dose of conservatism! Sucks, but eventually it all stacked up!

I'm just thankful that I can still get my knees in the wind, lay down some miles on pavement and take a few dirt/gravel roads to get to the really cool places to camp out, relax and dig it all.

I started riding when I was 14. That was 44 years ago! I wouldn't trade any of it, for anything.
