Took a little trip escorting a friend who moved to Idaho, and left a bike here on purpose so he had an excuse to ride across country. Time is only permitting me to follow him to Omaha. Then me and 2 buddies are going to make a loop through St. Louis and as many states as possible after that by Sunday.

So far in 2 days

Sounds like it was an awesome trip. Great pics of the bikes.. Curious since I'm new to sport and dual sport touring. What are the canisters you have mounted under your top box and how do you have them mounted. I'm always looking for new ways to store things on my bike..
thanks

Ok, sorry for the delay. I forgot to finish.
So , we did our part by reducing the insect population in Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa.

Then we stayed in Furgeson( Hands up, don't shoot while we Loot). And saw the Arch the following morning.

Then 385 miles of rain through Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee to Nashville

What a name for a store( Brothel came to mind)

All in all almost 3000 miles in 5 days. I didn't know you could go so far on such straight and flat roads. Glad I opted for the 14 model Tenere with the cruise control. One could say all that riding was boring, but I was riding and not stuck working!
We started out with 5 riders, 2 broke off in South Dakota headed to Idaho. Wished I would have been able to but time didn't permit. 3 of us did a loop of 10 states in 5 days, it was great seeing something different from the seat of my Tenere. Doesn't get any better than spending time with moto brothers, telling story's and talking shit the whole way. Even got a chance to visit my great great grandfathers farm in Missouri, I was born there but had never seen it in my adult life. My parents decided to move west when I was 3 weeks old. Ironically I dropped the Tenere for the 1st time in the driveway of the family farm, no pics or video so it never happened!

Thanks for following along on my journey, it wasn't the most exciting or adventurous. But there are 5 people in this world who will remember it for a lifetime.
