In the pipe. You can eliminate it by installing the Arrow headers.

Follow the headers to the Y under the bike. That is the Cat. You could slice the cat open and remove the guts, and re weld.
But doing that ruins the OEM exhaust and would cost a lot more to replace than the Arrow headers. ::024::
