Anybody have this setup? If so, what racks are you using?
Not familiar with that combination. I have a 34 top and 35 sides mounted on H&B racks.

I don't have the exact combination you are referring to, but here are some pictures of my home made Pelican setup. I started with a basic Touratech Rack, which is very nicely made and fits perfectly. I think it was $400.00. Then I purchased a pair of Touratech Bag Mounts, which work with the rack I bought. They were $62.00 each and not too difficult to mount. I then purchased a set of Pelican Storm cases in 36L size (IM2600). These were $110.00 each online. From there it was a simple matter of getting the cases lined up on the racks, drilling the holes and attaching the mounting pucks and hardware. The only thing extra I had to do was to get some plastic shim material (Tap Plastics, about $6.00 total) to level out the surface of the case where the Pucks get mounted. The Pelican case comes with two sections on the bottom which protrude about 1/8". The pucks have to sit on this part, and halfway on the lower part, if that makes sense. I had the shop cut the black plastic sheet to the perfect size then taped it into place while I was drilling the mounting holes. I got one bag set up just right, then used it as a template to drill the second bag, back to back. I did purchase the 36L bag liners from Caribou which arrived yesterday. The are very nice and well made. I also added some black locks which are all keyed the same. It was a fun project and saved a little money. I had fun doing it and the results were great. Removing the 4 locks takes about 5 seconds each, and removing the bags from the bike takes about 35 seconds each. All in all I am very pleased with the look and the functionality. The Reflective Tape I purchased from a local NAPA store. I think it's used for marking trailers. It costs about $8.00 per bag.

Another option for Pelcian cases is to check out TwistedThrottle's Pelican cases and mounting racks. It's less $$ than Caribou's.

Hockey pucks and 1/8" aluminum to mount the Caribous on my son's Strom cheaply. Works GREAT! The racks are SW-Motech

I'm away from the bike for a while, so I can't send pics, but Roger at Caribou used my bike to prototype his topcase rack and uses pics we took on his website. Check them out at cariboucases.com

Thanks Paul. I placed an order Saturday for the top case. I'll order the side cases a little later after the wife has a chance to cool off a little. ::005::

Sorry for the late responses. I know what it's like having to deal with the boss. ::019::

I like my Pelicans a lot (vested interest, I guess) but the lifetime warranty made the sale.
