Can we embed videos here?

Just tried to embed 5 videos in a new thread - it didn't work. Is there a simple way to embed videos (hosted elsewhere) in a post? Or is the only way to upload them individually through the nav option and fill in the details on each video during the process?

Actual hosting of videos is complicated and expensive and is best done on sites like YouTube that are not only built for it, but free.

YouTube makes uploading videos nearly effortless, so upload it there. Subsequently embedding the video here is trivial: mention the http link somewhere in your post. It will look something like this, except without the space before the colon:

http ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMZbgHPhLb0

I sure wouldn't mind seeing your 5 videos.

Embed or attach the videos? The embedding usually works by just pasting the URL, but not in all cases.

Well, the answer is...yes.

It requires NOT thinking and taking the simplest route possible.

Just copy and paste the URL from the browser, as was suggested to me by another member here.
