Well, after last night's check on power consumption with my current CPAP machine and the humidifier set to minimum heat, it consumed 20w per hour and based on that, I ordered the 500w Jackery unit which should provide me with 2 full nights of CPAP with level 1 humidification. I was feeling quite well this morning, just a slight dryness in the sinuses. I tossed the S10 on my scales and as it is not able to be taken apart it was weighed WITH the humidifier and it weighs pretty much the same as the old System One CPAP only, without it's removable humidifier. All this stuff will take up some room in the luggage, but it's not that bad, nor is it that heavy, though the Jackery is getting up there at around 13 lbs. I dread to think how heavy it would have been if it used gel cells instead of Lion. That Jackery will also charge all my electronic devices and with it's built in 500w inverter, can power anything that uses 500w or less, that would normally plug into a 120v socket. So.... my CPAP will run off the inverter with it's power brick instead of fooling around with a step up converter to get 24v and then having to figure out where to get what appears to be a proprietary plug that they used...
I just realised I have an error in my previous message. I wrote the S10 used 460W/h, which was incorrect. It used a total of 0.460KW/h for the entire night. That would be close to 60 watts per hour, not 460 watts!
