Camp-n-ride Boyer Station mid Aug

Just a feeler to gauge interest. No definite plan yet, pending checking out the place in person ASAP if sufficient interest warrants.

When: Aug Wed 14- Sun 18 (or any part thereof what floats yer boat)

Where: Boyer Station http://www.boyerstation.com/Welcome/
central to tons good riding, motel, campground and home-cooked grub available on site. Fuel and adult beverages (limited selection) across the street.

What: Will likely attract both FJR riders and Adv Pig riders, so likely 2 riding groups

Cool beans! Mixed surface riding, it will take a bit of bitumen to get to and from the off road, but it is good and plenty once there.

I'll make a scouting run to check out Boyer Station up close and personal soon and post up what I find.

I have a report from a fellow rider that passed by Boyer Station last week. He said it looked closed. Reckon that means a change of venue.

I'll post up as soon as I recalculate.

Great place, camped there a number of times. Good road riding and some points of interest close by (Cass Railway, Green Bank Observatory) and some great dirt riding if you want it too. Do it!

Thanks Trevor. My bud rode by and said it looked closed. I will check it out to see for sure and will definitely be doing dirt.
