Wish I had time to enjoy it, but I don't.

Setting off today on a marathon trek from charleston, SC to San fran. I can't leave for another couple of hours. I intend to ride until i freeze tonight followed by a pair of 1000 mile days. I should be there for dinner on Thursday. Leaving the bike in California and flying home. Gonna miss her for the spring, for sure. Going back to california in June and riding 2 up to alaska. Woohoo!

Hey bloodline, That's a kickass trek you got goin there mate, I've only done 850 mile/13 hr days, it's a haul, hope you have some tunes to help rock away the miles. ::013:: Be prudent and stop/rest if you have to. I've slept well for even an hour on a table at a rest stop. ::019:: ::26::

The cold and snow and rain have all come and gone and come back again here, all w/in hours of each other. Keep track of the temp/conditions.

Thanks guys. Taking a break just outside San Antonio. Temps in the 30's for several hours today. It took a lot out of me. I haven't been warm since 0600.

I'm staring at an overall avg speed for today of 63.1, at this point. Not too great. I've got to pick up the pace a bit.
