morning all,

I will be starting a garage day on saturdays (9-when ever we feel like it)

at my place during this upcoming winter.

The idea here is for us to get together shoot the poop and work on our bikes.

This would be a group effort. i.e. you need your oil changed on your forks. I'll walk you through it but you get to do the work. ;D

Let me know if you would be interested in this. Best to PM me, and I will include the interested parties on the email.

the lift is here, and most tools to do pretty much any job.
One things that I ask is if you need to change oil/fluids, please bring what you need, but also take the used fluids with you. If you have shop rags, bring them.

-fork/steering head bearing service/forks seals
-valves
-swing arm bearing lube
-tire change
-tb sync
-final drive seals
-other misc. stuff

I have a few things coming up for my bike.
-40km valve adj.
-some misc. electrical work
-fluid flush

I know the weather will suck the big one, but a few of us have either trailers or trucks to get the bikes here. Let me know what needs to happen and we can arrange it. Also if the work runs longer than the garage day, the bike can stay till the next weekned, when we can complete the work.

.

No mention of a beer fridge?!!!!
C'mon Camshaft. Who needs a beer fridge in Calgary in the winter? Just set those bad boys on the garage floor and let nature take its course! ::003::

Unless of course you are talking about a heated garage. In that case, I think the presence of a beer fridge is implicitly understood... ;D

the garage is well insulated, with an electric heater to keep the chill off.
MOst days it never drops below 5 deg C.
Beer fridge? in the snow drift outside.
