C&D Canal Ride this Sunday

Anyone interested in meeting up for a ride on the C&D Canal access roads and play areas this coming Sunday, February 5? A buddy and I are planning on doing some exploring on the north and south sides of the canal.

Assuming you meant C&O, I'd love to if I don't get too far from home. (on call for work)
I live next to Shady Grove Metro if you want a meeting place.

Sorry, I meant C&D Canal, which is on the eastern shore of Maryland by Chesapeake City. It is the closest place I know of to the DC metro area where you can get familiar with and practice riding off-pavement. Just about every type of surface you can imagine is available there - hard pack gravel, dirt, packed sand, fluffy sand, and mud (since it rained recently!).

I have spent a fair bit of time exploring the north side of the canal, and a couple days exploring the southern side as well. Each is a fun place to spend some time.

Would love to catch up with you sometime though - I'm over in Edgewater, which is just around the corner from you off Route 50.
