This one really annoys me. Has anyone else experienced a buzzing coming from the front at around 3500-4000 RPM?

I can hear it when riding and find myself placing my hand in random places trying to find the source. So far, no luck. Any advice is appreciated.

Sounds like it's coming up from the fork 'well'? Lower rpm, but yep. No clue either. If it was my ol' Royal Star I would suspect the screws for the faux valve covers had vibrated loose again...

I think this is a parallel twin thing...My Versys had all kinds of plastic buzz....I solved it my adding bluetooth to my helmet and streaming music ::018::

Something to think about is when a multi-cylinder bike becomes out of "Sync" with throttle bodies, different things can be felt on a bike. Has this been done lately? It surely throws a different feel into the handlebars when out of sync. Just a thought, as I notice this when they need to be done. I also remember having a different sound in that rpm range before I had my ECU reprogrammed. The clutch mod may also smooth it out . Just some low $ ideas to continue to make this bike smooth.

I have noticed this as well and have not found the source. It definitely sounds like a piece of plastic vibrating, not a metallic sound.

I will find the source of this nasty little annoyance if it's the last thing I do!!!

Good catch. Wouldn't be rpm related though...

Mine stopped when I did that. I only heard it when I throttled up. I also tightened the loose nut behind the wheel... ::025::

I've never had this done. Perhaps I should...
