Yeah, you are gonna freeze if you are camping up on the rim or out back (west) of the park, as it looks like in your pic. Go down to Kodachrome or Tropic if you have another night. Surprised that it's so dry. I would have expected much more snow.

Very nice. Gotta love the wide open West. If you have the right pad/ sleeping bag combo you'll never freeze. Makes my right wrist twitch. Lucky!

The owner of this restaurant, cool guy named Ed, give me a tip on a fun ride from Mt Carmel, UT (where this pic was taken) to Colorado City,AZ. The route took me just past Pink Coral Sand Dunes State Park in souther Utah.

The ride was great, as promised but I had to give the guys pulling their camper trailers some lead as they draining their waste tanks as they drove. On the bright side. The "water" helped to keep the dust down.

Nice ride out. Great name for a restaurant ... not sure I like the sound of riding behind the camper vans though.
