Spkldoe and me saddled up Alegany for an expedition along a mountain route that has to be experienced to fully appreciate.

Brush Creek State Park and Preserve is a Central Appalachian jewel. The falls themselves are among the largest in southern WV. The adjoining Nature Conservancy preserve and Bluestone National River provides refuge to several uncommon plants and animals and visitors will glimpse pristine natural and cultural past. Bring your hiking and fishing gear and plan to make a day (or week) of it, and be forewarned you will not want to leave.

You make some really nice videos of some really nice rides. Just the type of rides I love to do myself.
What setup do you use to capture the footage? Camera, mount, etc?

Well thank ye. Glad you like 'em.

I use a simple Flip Cam intended to be handheld; and in this video, it was. Spkldoe was filming from the pillion perch (with a lanyard on the camera) and pounding me in the back if I got to going too fast.

When running solo, I use a high tech mount consisting of adhesive-backed industrial strength velco on the camera and stick it to the ID patch of my safety vest with a lanyard run thru the zipper pull on my vest for redundancy. Surely not fancy, but sufficient. Hope to have an actual sports camera some day. And yes, I used to ride a KLR. ;D

Thanks for the info. I was expecting to hear some butget busting list of specs and equipment. You get some nice results with a low tech solution. I may try a similar approach myself.
Great to see what can be accomplished with a little old fashioned ingenuity.

Still have my KLR. My son seems to have taken it over. We're going to do some riding together this weekend.

Keep up the good work. I may have to take a trip out WV way this summer. Beautiful country. Enjoy it!

In the event, give a shout. I know a decent road or two.
