Hi Folks,
This is my third s10. So on its maiden voyage with 3 miles, all the dash lights came on, engine (solid), TSC (flashing), ABS and cruise light is also flashing. I tried resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery. That didn’t work. Any suggestions? I will take it back to dealer, I just want an idea. Thanks, Rick

I would be absolutely sure the battery terminals are tight and the battery is good.

Confirmed the battery terminals are tight, also the battery tender says the battery is fully charged. I also checked every DIN pin I could find to make sure they were clicked in.

I will be calling dealership first thing tomorrow of course. Bike engine sounds fine and runs fine for the 7 miles I rode it.

New info. When I turn the key on and don’t start the bike I get this screen I’ve never seen on my old S10. Is 069 a code? If so what code?

Is it normal for a new bike to have so few miles after setup? I'd imagine they'd want to take it out and run it up to highway speeds just to be sure everything is tight and functional, and I can't imagine being able to do that in three miles.

The sensors and wheels all look good and tight and not scuffed. The bike was delivered to my home with .2 miles on it. So they can’t claim they did a test ride.

Hey Mak10, good service manual info. Thank you. Would you happen to know where the ECU and the ABS ECU are located? I could check those connections.

I'd check the obvious connections, make sure the shop kid that put it together didn't route the wires where they come in contact with anything moving.
Beyond that, it's a new bike. Back to the dealership.

Yeah that's the plan tomorrow, where the same kid can try to diagnose it. I would have loved to explain exactly what the fix is but at least I can tell him the fault code and likely suspects. I'll keep you guys updated. Might take a while to get it back. I'm going to ask for a loner bike to.

In 2018, with my new to me 2017, I was on the highway loving my new motorcycle and every light on the dash came on. Bike was running and still continued to run fantastic. I pulled over immediately to find out the ABS sensor on the front wheel came off. Luckily it didn't get tangled in the wheel and rip itself to shreds. I put it back in its position, put some duct tape back on and away I went til I was home and put a proper bolt in its place. It has to be something stupid. My $0.02. Even if the wires look good, follow them further up and make sure they are still intact. Good luck and keep us posted.
