Brake level slack?

On my Super Tenere, the end of the front brake lever has about 1" movement for full braking (and about 1/2 inch before braking begins). I did an initial bleed, but that didn't help. Before I do a more aggressive bleed, how is the front brake level movement for others? As I have multiple bikes, I don't recall what it was like when it was new. (Maybe normal for this type of bike). Note, I can big time stop without a problem, but just seems more movement than my GoldWing...

I feel that's normal for this bike. I have about the same amount of movement but I also have short leavers on mine and it is perfect for me. ::008::

You might want to try adjusting the position of the brake lever. It has a 5 or 6 position set-up on it. I realize this doesn't directly address your question, but it might make a difference. I haven't seen my bike in so long, I can't remember how much play it has. R

I would not get into an "aggressive bleed" unless you are familiar with the ABS bleed sequence. It can be a real bitch..
