I have looked and studied for 2 days. After reading post about factory bags and seeing them in person I feel they will not hold up for what I need. Hepco Becker xplorer look good but for $1800.00 shipped I will need a Happy ending and not sure how they will hold up as well. I looked at many other bags but narrowed it down. I went with Caribou. All 3 bags 2 side @ 40L and top case 35L turn key with bag liners 1210.00 shipped and warr for life. Roger seems like a great guy to buy from and he takes care of all warr issues. I will post picks as soon as I get them mounted next week. If anyone has this set please let me know what you think of them.

The Xplorer bags are nice, but I never knew they were that much. Wow.

I'm starting to view the Trax bags in a different light. They seem like a bargain compared to most other offerings.

I have Caribou luggage using the Pelican 36L with Hep-Beck racks and I love em. You made a great choice and Roger is great to deal with.

I also liked the Xplorers when I saw them at the Indy Dealer Show last Feb. I was a bit disappointed to find that the H&B racks for the S10 were symmetrical and they recommended the 30L for each side, vs the R1200GS they had on display at the show with asymmetrical racks and a 30 on one side and 40 on the other. I still thought I could live with a 30 on each side or even a 40 on each side with their racks, or if I wanted offset, could get the SW-Motech racks with H&B adapters. However I read on ADV about some that had problems with the plastic hinges wearing quickly, supposedly with no abuse. Upon inquiring about replacing those hinges, I was informed that they were not replaceable. Too bad, as otherwise, I liked the design, especially in black.

I surmised that they all had pros and cons and in the end went with the Trax and my latest set have been leak tested by TT before they sent them and by me when I got them and have had no problems in that regard. I also like the looks and function of them.

Here are the H&B Xplorers on the 1200GS:

Anyone ever use/attach one? similar to touratech's 3L? Or is it HB specific?
