We finally got the BMC filters in from Italy. That only took about four months. I think because the bike is a 2012 they thought we would not have the bikes till 2012.. So they made sure we had them just before 2012... :D Here is it installed and compared to the stock filter. As many of you know I have the PCV/AT with exhaust. I honestly didn't expect to feel any difference. Many of these type claims for power increase because of a filter is bogus IMOP. But I will say that with the other bolt on parts on the bike, I could feel difference over 15-20 miles, AT changing the AFR. The filter did make a change. I was really surprised. Here they are....

I have the K&N. Since I had that installed together with the Akra, I cannot say what the difference of the K&N itself is, but the airintake did sound louder!

Do you have a picture (or better yet a side by side picture) of the S10 K&N filter? I think I recall you saying somewhere that the BMC filter had a denser ridge pattern than the K&N...

Same number of ribs. Got to give it to BMC for manicuring the filtering material. There might be a difference in square inches of filtering material. Got to wonder if the filtering material is different. Not a clue what the retail price difference is.

Hey guys.....

We carry them both, and they are both better than stock for breathability.. The elements are very similar and the same in concept. I will say, I didn't think it would really make any difference at all. I'm happy to say that it really does ! ::008:: I will have the prices on the web site tonight.. There is about a $15 dollar difference between the two... Both are a good part of the the 'power package'. If anyone has any questions just let us know. Thanks

I heard it is risk for the bike to run " lean " ..... To mutch air , to little petrol ?
Some say that slip-on and K&N / BMC / DNA ? Together is okay , as long you dont change the " downpipes" / catalysator ?
Tabasco ...... What is your thinking about this ?

DNA , K&N , BMC
