Bleed clutch

Hello ....

Dont like the feeling in clutch ... Think i Will change DOT 4 clutch oil and bleed .
Gravety bleed or " Old school " pull lever ... Open bleednippke ... Close bleednipple.. Release lever ... Press lever ... Open bleednipple ...
Yuo know .

I dont think it has been change one time ... Tis A 2011 , sold as new spring 2013 ... Have now driven omlott 2 years , BUT the brakefluid and clutch are almost 4 years then

there was a thread for the clutch bleed. It advised taking the clutch end off the engine to allow an easier bleed. Have a search.

Haven't had to remove the slave side of clutch, but when you bleed make sure you don't run out of fluid. The master reservoir is tiny. Also, pull the lever slowly so as to not create bubbles when bleeding. I always try to remove the old fluid in the master with a turkey baster or something similar to push through clean fluid from the get go.

Clutchbleed Done .... Dot4 was not so bad .... Bot tool the Old our the reservoar först , then bleed the hole thin from Old fluid

It vas the lever that vasn,t going all the way back ! Roaddirt and outher dirt had mad it A little bit filfy .... Clean it att lttle Grease an the clutch vent all the way back again ::008:: ::008::

Took apart botch sides and cleand it ant putt together again ..... All GOOD now
Toon apart shiftpivot too , cleand it and Grease

Bleed - super simple, but the reservoir needs to be filled every 3 or 4 pulls or so. And pull the lever slowly, or brake fluid squirts out.
Need:
8mm wrench
short piece of clear 1/4 tubing (Got mine at Home Depot)
waste cup/can

Takes just a few minutes.

Very nasty looking. I did the front brakes too, and the fluid looked new in comparison.
