I've decided to sell my Super Tenere. It is without question the best motorcycle I've ever owned. It has about 900 miles on the clock and comes with 35L Caribou's and a 34L top case. It also has a factory skid plate, wind deflectors, and a Battery Tender. I'll throw in the remains of a case of Yamaha oil filters. I haven't had any of the odd quirks reported here on the forum. It runs perfectly. I've listed it on CL at $14,750, but I'd give my friends here a break on that number.

Keep in mind that this is one of the "faster" Black ST's ::26:: I intend on continuing to ride it this summer until it's sold.

PM me for more info or call via my number in the Fort Collins, CO listings

Rem, It's so fast that I'm terrified to ride it in the "Sport" setting. I suppose I'd be a LOT more comfortable on a blue one going slow. I'm an old guy, ya' know? ::025:: ::025:: ::025::

Re: Black Super Tenere FS.....No Longer!

All of you,

It has been brought to my attention....by my dear wife of 39 years.....that I waited a very long time, left retirement and went back to work in order that I could buy my Tenere for cash. She feels that I probably could not find anything that would replace it and would be sad if I sold it. I went out and sat with the bike today for a long while to connect with it's Karma. That was pretty easy.

With all of that in mind, my decision has been changed by someone who loves me more than I love myself. (THAT'S A LOT! ::))

I apologize to anyone I've hurt or distressed by raising their expectations of becoming the owner of this fine machine. I'm never happy when I change a decision I've put a lot of thought into.

I will continue to harass all of you on the forum with all my might. The support I receive around here is stunning and undeserved at times. Thanks!

TRULY........ ::021::

Yeah, and she's a lot smarter than I am, too!(Admittedly, not a very high bar ???) I'm a lucky guy.
