They have them in Canada but finding a dealer that will make you a deal is not easy.

I entered the European part number for the black panniers in Stadium Yamaha's search engine and they came up, same price as the silver panniers. So it seems they are now available stateside.

Doesn't necessarily mean they're orderable.

I painted the panniers on my GS several years ago when I had one... Didn't do well.
Chipped badly on the first ride out.
Perhaps truck bed liner might have been better?!

I had them in my cart and was 3/4 of the way through the checkout process when I decided to get Holans instead. But believe what you want, Mark...

I've gone ALL the way through the checkout process for numerous motorcycle parts and accessories only to get an email/call, etc. saying that what I ordered is not available.

We'll know for sure when someone actually buys/receives a set from a US dealer.

Never been available to the U.S. as of yet, but they do have the part number in the system and it appears they are coming.......
Yamaha shows an estimated ship date of June 2013 for these with a sug retail of $481.95 which is a few dollars more than the silver.

Rang Stadium Yamaha today. The black panniers will be available in June. Their website is showing $342.18 per side.

Jaxon (Tabasco) found some for me, ordered from yonder country....

Can anyone confirm that June is an absolute? Because the shipped price VS that quoted here is significantly different....

I got confirmation from a Yamaha dealer, I don't think you can get much better than that unless you have a connection in corporate headquarters.

Man I'm excited about that. I have wanted black OEM bags but did not want to pay the price. June works for me.

If true, this news makes me happier than a fat kid eating bonbons while naked in a snow storm. I been close pulling the trigger on the zega pros but haven't found an excuse to justify spending 1600 bucks on some luggage boxes...lol

I like the black too.

Anybody who is buying a new bike who prefers the silver ones, drop me a PM. Get yours with black and I'll make you a great deal on a black for silver trade.
