Finally got home so here are a few pix.
DM showing the States she was about to lead DD through next:
So after leaving I headed up to Devils Tower and there's a Tenere next to the Visitor's Center. Turns out he was not even aware of us or the forum and small world, served in the Navy with my brother in law and lives not that far from me. Hopefully Brian will join the collective here.
Always wanted to cross the country on backroads so did that and took on two 12 week old passengers just to get them the hell out of a squalid collection of broken down trailers, old RVs, and anything else people could sleep in. Then tick covered, the pups have now been off the rez for a week and tomorrow the black one, Zorro, goes to his new home. Their mom was a big black lab and I'm guessing the dad for the B&W pup was a tall lanky legged hound of some kind. I've been calling him KoTa which is the base word for both Dakota and Lakota and translates to friend. He's a lover who I'm guessing will be 70+ lb and is sweet as they come but at 12 weeks he needs somebody who can put time into him.
KoTa is all leg and look at the size of those paws!
