I bought a PDP bike just hours after it arrived at the dealer and the fella that had originally ordered it was not interested any longer.
I didn't get to choose color, price, or anything else. I showed up before the doors had opened with checkbook in hand.

That was more than 2 years ago and 32,000 miles.

It could have been baby poop green, I didn't care. I got me one!

No regrets. Not for a single second or a single mile.

Raven, because that's what was in stock. Never regretted it for one second. I have to say though, they all look great. There isn't one that it comes in color that I wouldn't proudly own.

There were pic a couple of pages back in this thread of one that someone had painted Ford red. Just happens to be the color of my F150. Thought about it for a minute. It would look cool riding in the back of the matching truck on the once a year or so that I truck the bike somewhere. Decided that time and money could be best used on other things.

I recently got a set of graphite? side cowling's off ebay, the seller was changing everything on a new bike for World Crosser parts. I paid around $170 the pair, including the grills.
Original as I bought it.

While I have always considered black the fastest, mine is blue. I did not head out that day to buy a Yamaha but when I started considering it one of the thoughts was well if II'm getting one at least it's blue. If the financial gods are good enough to me I'll someday have a red ducati, green Kawasaki, an Indian red Chief of some sort and so on.

I really wanted a black but if didn´t want to wait I could choose between silver and blue so-as I didnt want to dissapear in foggy weather - blue it was. Glad for that today ! That perticular blue is really nice ;D

I had a choice between white and gray. I almost went with the white but at the very last moment made a change to the gray. When my kids saw it, they said, "Wow, that looks like something Batman would ride!".

I really do think the matte finish is slick. Makes it look like a stealth vehicle--I know, you don't want to be invisible on the road. I do wear a yellow hi-vis jacket.

Thank you Creggur. Sometimes it's necessary to re-state the obvious, although I did paint my muffler heat shield satin black. Plus, in Los Angeles we also have Dodger Blue.

Gotta ask, creggur - what's the "U.S. Number 717" all about?
I had my mouth set on a grey one until the white one jumped out at me in Billings. It's in the yard now waiting for the snow to melt!

Us early buyers had a thread a while back about who got what in the build order of the first lot for North America. We backed it out of the serial numbers. Mine's #231 & we have folks here with lower numbers.

I got the "Beluga" white. A 2013. I don't know if it's the fastest, but it's the whitest, and looks the stubbiest (in a weird cool way).
