I got tired of getting saddle sore after a fairly short ride. After looking around I contacted BMS about a custom saddle. Rocky himself called me back very quickly. We discussed my issues and concerns and options for seat cover materials. I sent Rocky photos of me on the bike and mailed the seat to California. 8 days later my new seat was Here! Looks great and is already far more comfortable than the stocker (and supposedly it takes 1-1.5k miles to break in and I've only got 210 on my new seat!). Great product, Great Personal Service, Extremely helpful and accommodating, and pricedVery Competitively HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Surprised you spoke with Rocky. When they were in Ojai CA I had my set built in 2011 as a Ride In. Never saw Rocky. Month later rode back to Ojai and had the seat modified. Never saw Rocky. six months later I stopped by to have a couple loose staples re-stapled. Never saw Rocky.

Just used my 2012 as a trade-in for a 2015 ES. The one thing I had to have off the 2012 was the seats. 3 1/2 years of broken in comfort was priority.

It is great that you had such a positive experience with BMS.

Unfortunately, I experienced almost exactly the opposite when I had a seat made for my bike from BMS. Rocky wouldn't stand behind his product, and that really left a sour taste in my mouth.

Like anything, there are people who are happy with every seat, and people who are not so happy. One seat doesn't fit all butts...

My experiences were not that good but it is what it is. The seat is better than stock and I have ridden more than 800 miles in a 12 1/2 hour period and was able to walk afterward. I would look somewhere else before having them build a seat. I have had good luck with Corbin of Hollister. Their Ride-in program is very good plus they give you a free fit (unlike BMS). They also buy you a meal at their restaurant while you wait. Plus you can tour the factory.

There are very good and very bad reviews for every seat builder I know of. Whats a rider to do :(
