Big Hello from Arkansas

Well my name is Scott..... and I'm oh so happy to be here!!! So is my wife by the way!! What I mean by that is.... she's glad to know that I've finally got the
bike I'll be stickin' with for what I believe will be a long, long time. ::012::

I just bought a beautiful 2013 FJR only a few months back but just wasn't feelin' the love like I should ... so I summoned up the courage to look a bit foolish to my friends, family and wife,
and made up my mind to sell the bike after I took a demo ride on a Tenere. I sold the FJR to a great guy on this forum... ColoRider.... who just so happens to be on the road back
home on the FJR at this very moment. His text today said he "Loves It".... so I'm happy the FJR found a loving home.

I've taken my first real ride this past week.... doin' a 200 mile trip with about 20 miles of dirt in the mix and I'm definately hooked. So now, off we go to droppin' the $$ to customize
my new ride. I'm stayin' busy trying to catch and hide all those mystery boxes being dropped off by the UPS man every few days.... ::022::

I've ridden dirt all my life but got more into the street scene a few years ago as my time to get to the woods was spread much to thin. Now I can have the best of both worlds with my
new Raven Tenere.... Oh, and the new 2012 DRZ400s I just recently picked up helps to round out the stable. I should be set for quite a while now.... Lookin' forward to meeting some others on the forum if you make your way to Arkansas or when I get out to explore other states on my black beauty.

Welcome on, AT aka Scott. So you're the guy who sold the bike to rotten Rod ?? I know it will have a good home. Rod was up in Whitehorse last summer and he was still lamenting about his FJR. I have a Honda ST1300 but have no more use for it since I got the Tenere. The Honda is for sale. ::004:: to the Forum. R. ::022::

Thanks for all the welcomes..... for those coming to Little Rock area. My ridin' buddy and I will be doing a great ride/exploration on either Sat or Sunday morning to the west of Greenbrier and up to the brock creek area around Jerusalem . Will be a mixture of pavement and dirt.... mainly dirt....as I want to explore that area a bit, but anyone is welcome to join us. Lots of narly single track in that area as well but we'll save that for another day on the DRZ
