Yes, plug and play is important because i trade bike before they get high mileage which ends up being every three years. So just like my FJRs before everything gets returned to stock and transferred to the next bike. And for sure there will be another S10.

coastie - nice setup. Which rigid bar do you have. I'm leaning towards aux light on all the time. 50% during low beam with high beam switch taking it to 100%.

It's the rigid driving light. Great light but it does not have a low beam, and if you run this full time you are going to cause some accidents. It is very bright when on. Not sure if they offer a light with low beams.

Great thread! I bought the Skene IQ-175 and plan to hook it up to a Rigid LED light similar to Coastie's setup.

I also found it most logical to use the existing aux lighting harness.

This connector set is needed to wire to the aux lighting plug. You just push the pins into the connector and then solder to the back of the pins.

This handlebar switch looks great to the right of the high beam switch and fits in like it belongs.

A couple of reusable cable ties may be useful.

Eastern Beaver is wonderful.

I used PIAA LED fog lamps because they are wide angle and nicely fill the void under the headlights. Generally I turn them on whenever approaching an on-ramp, because the stock headlights are almost useless in tight turns. The lamps came with a decent quality wiring harness.

Attached are some bad spur-of-the-moment pictures.

Cheers.
