While im at it anyone have any views on the Rocky Creek pump ?

I heard back from mike @ Warm and Safe and this was his response:

We stopped carrying the SAE battery harness years ago because the SAE connector is poor when the draws are higher than 7.5a. 1 jacket liner at 12v draws 7.5a. if you want to use the battery tender and run heated clothing I recommend using our coax battery harness with an adapter: http://www.warmnsafe.com/sae-coax-plug-adapter-6-in/

Of course the same thing would hold true for any load that was over 6 or 7 amps, not just clothing. The bottom line is that the Battery Tender harness is more useful than the factory charging port, but only marginally.
