I only have close to 11,000 miles on my Tenere [do to no vacation time after picking up the Tenere ] But it just keeps getting better every time I ride it. Thank You, Steve
Only 11K miles in about 4 months due to lack of vacation? How many would you normally do?

I've owned two DL650s and one DL1000. I agree the 650 is known for being incredibly smooth, and yes my Tenere is equally smooth or better. I loved my DL1000 as the best bike I've ever owned. The Tenere is better in every way except one (engine heat management in very hot weather). I don't know if it's the best bike ever built, but I will say I don't miss my beloved DL1000, and I am extremely happy with my new bike. Sure, I've had the hard start issue, but that's pretty minor compared to the benefits or riding a Tenere.

I came from the Multi12 also, hard to explain but the Super Tenere just fits better. Much better wind protection, and is fun without venturing into the speeding ticket zones!
Whats a speeding ticket? ;D

Next to my Honda Super 90 I have to agree with y'all. The S10 has exceeded all expectations.

Super 90's are the real deal. The news paper and mail delivery guys ride them year-round here in Japan..they don't ride them gently either. In the winter, they just slap on what amount to chains....brrrr!

I traded my FZ1 with 200K and lots of great memories for the S10. I loved the FZ1. i REALLY love the S10. It's easy to manage, comfortable, great for long distance riding, you can really load it up. Only able to get 11K on it since meeting it in August - hopefully more next year! If it weren't for the darn sand, salt and ice on the road, i wouldn't have to put it away for the winter!
