I'll get a better picture. In those pictures it looks like it sticks out more than it does in person. If I just saw the picture I posted and didn't see it in real life.....I wouldn't like it.

Definitely inconspicuous. Compared to OEM, how does it sound? Louder, quieter, manlier, wimpier, the same? And can you feel any performance gains? When I changed my '86FJ to Vance & Hines, it sounded so much better, but only ran better at higher RPMs.

Very sorry for the late reply! It is a tad bit later than stock. Pretty close to the same pitch and tone. Hard to tell any performance gains yet. I've gotten to ride it a total of 50 miles so far! (sad I know....) Hopefully Tues. I'll get some good miles in. I don't think one will notice any difference with the baffle in. I took the baffle out and it is very restrictive. I need to try without the baffle in and maybe think about modifying the baffle. I have no other mods such as any intake or fuel mapping.

Over the years, I've been noticing that competition between manufacturers has resulted in great performance right off the showroom floor. Back in the day it was easy to get big gains out of intake/exhaust modifications. Now, on average, the biggest gain of a modification, is a reduction in weight....for a lot of money. In my opinion it makes more sense to modify the ride for comfort and protection, instead of trying to improve the powertrain.

Leave the stock muffler on and there is never a problem. Why change? Need to hear yourself more, louder note? Save the 1/2 pound? Looks better? I try to guage why guys install things that ruin things.
We are happy you like your bike the way it is but some of us like to modify or mod our bikes to suit us better ,what we do to our bike is a personal choice you have chosen to leave yours stock which is great but saying they are ruining them because they modify them is a bit assinine.. ::021::

Agreed. My bike looks and sounds badass. To me. And it's saved a pound or 2. It's improved, especially with all of the carbon fiber I "added lightness"
