I know there are tons of tire threads out there but I wasnt able to find any for this specific trail. I am wondering if anyone has done this trail on the Tenere and if so what tires might be good. I may do it on the stockers but I am expecting some sand and know that the stockers are not very fun in sand.
Thanks
Karl

And you can't forget the LA to Barstow to Vegas ride!!

I'd go with either a Conti TKC or a Michelin Karoo (NOT the T)

There are two Karoo; the Karoo and the Karoo T.

The T is a Traveler tire. As such, it has a knobs that are shorter in height. It's design lends to a bit more stability on road and at speed.

Just go with the more aggressive tire that is more suitable for the off road aspect of the road and take it down a notch or two for the connectors of asphalt.

Judging by those great videos, I'd say go with the meanest knobbies out there on an S10. Suggest the Kenda Big Blocks. Or TKCs if you're can afford them. ::001::
